News from the pre-fab front...
I recently saw one of the HOM Lifestyle dwellings at the Pacific Design Center and it is fantastic. It's a super simple manufactured home but stylishly finished with modern fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, doors, windows, hardware, etc. It's the perfect combination of modern pre-fab and traditional (read: affordable) manufactured housing. HOM Lifestyle has positioned their product primarily as a vacation home but it's so nice, why not live in one full time?
